Dawn Reibolt
Joy Filled Living Ministry, President
Dawn’s call to nursing 30 years ago was inspired by her compassionate heart and desire to bring the highest quality of patient care to those she met. From her positions as a surgery supervisor, ICU nurse, admission/marketing coordinator in a nursing facility, private care nurse, hospice nurse and teacher, Dawn always took the time to listen to her patients and went the extra mile meeting them right where they were and assisted individuals and families in navigating that new journey. She personally saw the lack of quality care available, especially for those who lacked funds. That is what led her to the vision of this non-profit….working together with those individuals as an advocate, facilitating and coordinating their daily living needs. Dawn’s philosophy – “I am the vessel, God is the One that Leads the Way”- is the guiding influence as she assists every client, whether it is through her private-duty nursing or serving as their real-estate agent. Dawn is a realtor with West USA and her transactions help fund this non-profit.
Merry Caswell
Joy Filled Living Ministry, Vice President
A retired educator, Merry has lived in Scottsdale and Cave Creek for the last 50 years. Along with her family, Merry has been actively involved in the horse industry throughout her life. She spends many weekends with grandchildren at junior rodeos while she enjoys watching the family continuing to pursue equine activities.
Merry became passionate about helping Seniors through different lifestyle challenges and living transitions after having personally assisted with several family members’ end-of-life care. It was a casual business meeting with Dawn one day over coffee that launched their vision. They discovered their mutual passion of wanting to help make a better life for those Seniors most vulnerable and needy.
Merry is currently a realtor with West USA and uses her realty transactions to help fund the Joy Filled Living Ministry nonprofit.
Beverly Roby
Joy Filled Living Ministry, Secretary
Beverly’s life journey has been one of leading, teaching, and serving. She spent 28 years in elementary and junior high classrooms, primarily teaching language arts and music. During those years she also encouraged children and young adults in the musical arts by directing and producing school musicals. Beverly transitioned to her second career and became a full-time Church Music Director where she was organist/pianist and served as director of adult and children’s vocal choirs and handbell choirs, and led both traditional and contemporary worship services. Always believing that the gifts the Lord has given her are to be shared, Beverly has served many community theater productions as music director/accompanist, entertained nursing home residents, and accompanied many musicians for concerts and competitions over the years. It is her love for helping and serving others that drew her to the mission of this non-profit.
Sandy Busalacchi
Joy Filled Living Ministry, Treasurer
Sandy’s life has been filled with sharing, giving, and reaching out to others. As a District Manager for a major call center in Wisconsin, she learned leadership and problem solving skills that she generously gave to many charitable organizations that help children and adults to enrich their lives by celebrating their abilities instead of their disabilities. Sandy was Vice-President of Wish Granting for the Make-A-Wish Foundation where she had personal contact with families of children who had life threatening illnesses and was able to make their dreams come true. For over 20 years she was volunteer director of Flight to the North Pole where, in conjunction with the Air National Guard and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, sick children were offered a magical flight aboard planes to the North Pole to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Ronald McDonald House and Special Olympics were also beneficiaries of Sandy’s heart for helping others. Her family was blessed to experience the end-of-life care that Sandy provided to several family members.
Sandy has now relocated to Arizona and, true to her nature, she is once again immersing herself in helping others where she volunteers for several non-profit organizations that provide outreach programs for elderly adults in need of transportation, medical equipment and in-home health care. The mission of Joy Filled Living Ministry appealed to Sandy’s heart and her love of helping Seniors in need.
